Everest Base Camp Trek

14 Days Moderate Max 5,364 m 2-12 people Mar-May, Sep-Nov

Overview

The Everest Base Camp Trek is the journey of a lifetime — a two-week pilgrimage through the legendary Khumbu to the foot of the world's highest mountain. From the white-knuckle landing at Lukla, the trail climbs through pine forest and across swaying suspension bridges to Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa capital.

Acclimatisation days in Namche and Dingboche keep you strong as the landscape turns lunar above the treeline. You'll visit Tengboche Monastery, walk beneath giants like Ama Dablam and finally stand at Base Camp itself (5,364 m), beside the tumbling Khumbu Icefall. The pre-dawn climb of Kala Patthar (5,545 m) rewards you with the classic sunrise panorama of Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse.

Our itinerary uses comfortable teahouses, experienced government-licensed guides and a maximum group size of twelve to keep the experience personal and safe.
