Langtang Valley Trek

10 Days Easy Max 4,773 m 2-10 people Mar-May, Sep-Dec

Overview

The Langtang Valley offers the greatest reward-to-effort ratio in the Himalaya. Just a day's drive from Kathmandu, this 10-day trek climbs through oak and rhododendron forest alive with langur monkeys into a glacier-carved valley walled by Langtang Lirung (7,227 m).

You'll sleep in welcoming Tamang villages, taste yak cheese at the Kyanjin Gompa dairy and climb Kyanjin Ri (4,773 m) for a 360° panorama of ice and rock. The region's recovery since 2015 makes every visit a direct contribution to local families.
